The Cree community of Wemindji has many urban infrastructures projects planned for the next years, requiring a significant amont of gravel, sand and crushed stones. A principal deposit with estimated lifetime of 40 years has been identified in the Kakabat sector. A passage will be required on Jibaud river to ensure access to the deposit.
