Project summary
The project consists in building a facility next to an existing sawmill for conversion of wood waste (sawdust, shavings, bark) into wood pellets. Les Enntreprises Barrette ltée intend to produce approximately 210 000 tonnes of pellets per year. This production will require a supply that will come exclusively from the coproducts of the sawmill.

The new facility will situated directly on the mill grounds of Barrette-Chapais ltd., near the town of Chapais.
